Battery health

I have iPhone 8 plus. Its battery health degraded to 77%. Is it safe to use?? Because its catch the heat while constant use of phone

It's safe to use but you're not going to get the proper performance from the phone if the battery is that unhealthy. You really need to replace the battery.


Batteries degrade over time with usage due to chemical aging, that's just how they work.

You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%.
