Is 97% battery health normal for iPhone 16 Pro Max after 175 cycles in 8 months?

Is this battery health normal? Also the phone does gets warmer while on charging, can i go for battery replacement?

Excellent performance.


The battery is expected to go up to 1,000 Cycles before it reaches 80% Maximum Capacity under ideal conditions. That translates to a decline of about 1% for every 50 Charge Cycles.


175 Charge Cycles divided by 50 = 3.5%, so it would be normal to expect that the battery was at about 96.5% Maximum Capacity at this time. 97% is excellent. There are a lot of users that wish that their battery was doing as well as yours.


The phone will get warm to hot during charging. That's normal.


Plan to replace the battery when it is down to 80% Maximum Capacity. That's a long ways off at this point.
