What to do when you can’t remember your screen time passcode?I have tryed several different strategies none of which have worked.

How to remove or reset screen time passcode?

have tryed several different ways all to no prevail.I’m not even sure how it got put on my phone.no I’m not a kid trying to remove it so I can look up things my parents wouldn’t approve of lol .unable to erase my phone and reset it up from a backup due to that screen time passcode .

What to do: If you forgot your Screen Time passcode

Article says:

"Go to Settings > Screen Time.
Tap Change Screen Time Passcode, then tap Change Screen Time Passcode again.
Tap Forgot Passcode?
Enter the Apple ID and password* that you used to set up the Screen Time passcode.
Enter a new Screen Time passcode, then enter it again to confirm."
