Icloud photo library access problem

All my mac's, 2 mac pro's, two phones, couple of ipads etc except my MacBook Pro can access photos in my shared icloud acct. How do I access the library that all the other devices manage to access. My Mac is an M1 pro running Ventura. Thanks Scott

Hi ScottMacD50,

The simplest explanation for a single device that cannot access shared content will be that the device is not configured with the same Apple ID as the others use and the content is stored under, or that iCloud Photos is not enabled on that Mac. Set up iCloud Photos on all your devices outlines the configuration of devices to use and access iCloud Photos .

If the configuration is correct, you may try testing in safe mode per How to use safe mode on your Mac as a method to isolate possible software-based conflicts. That article outlines next steps to take depending upon the results of the test that should be followed as well if necessary.

Regards.

Bill. It turns out I had two photo libraries a result of setting up a Dropbox acct in addition to icloud. I'll admit Dropbox has not played nice with my newest MacPro M1. I still can't delete one library as it says I need to download it first but for now I just leave it on the desktop and use library # 2 which works and syncs perfectly across all my devices. Thanks
