"Apple- Security Warning" from "Apple System Security Center" with creepy computer voice was doing a routine search on chrome, and this popped up (i have pop up blocker on) assumed spam, so didn't listen to the computertized voice that warned me not to close or log out... did so anyway. Questions are: can you confirm that this is spam any validity to the specific threat they detected? how to safely search for what malware software do you recommend? thanks for any help! Security alert I keep getting these screens pop up on my MacBook Pro. I'm pretty certain it's a scam; the phone number is not connected to Apple, but I don't seem to be able to get rid of it permanently. Has anyone else had this experience? Thanks so much! Vicky

How can I stop a scam notification on my MacBook? I keep getting a notification on my Mac Laptop that my icloud is being hacked right now, or something similar. I get 10 to 20 of these a day, but it is a scam. The only option I am given is to open it, then it disappears after a few seconds. Is there a way to stop just this one scam notification?
