Selling my MacBook with a broken display

Hello, I am selling my MacBook Air 2019 on Facebook marketplace. My MacBook Air has a broken LCD & screen display so the screen is basically all black and I can’t see anything from it. Before I sell it to someone I want to make sure all my information is completely erased from the MacBook.. because i can’t see the screen, I can’t access system settings from the MacBook to erase & restore device. I went on iCloud find my from my iPhone and I erased device from there now it says “erase pending” once connected to Wi-Fi the device with erase. But does erase device from iCloud find my actually erase literally everything of mine off the MacBook? Will this definitely take all my personal information off the MacBook? And when the person who’s buying it does replace the screen, connects to Wi-Fi, and is able to access the computer will the MacBook be completely erased and restored for him to start fresh with his information? (And not referring to activation lock because I know he will need to enter my iCloud password to remove activation lock once he gets on it) please help!! I’m supposed to be selling it tonight!! Thanks in advance

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.2
