Does an iPad case protect an iPad from magnets next to or touching it

I wanna know if my iPad case can protect my device from my library book I leave underneath it every night I recently heard about magnets being able to steal data and and library books do have magnets, google it, it’s true (look up how they are magnetized). I’m worried that it will damage my device or steal my data and information not trying to sound crazy I’ve heard of data being stolen via magnetic fields happening before but I don’t know how that works and I don’t know how the magnets in library books work but I do know magnets can really damage a device

and to whoever answers this please don’t just say no and end it there

thank you :)

this is for iPad 9th generation

It is unlikely that the magnets in a library book will cause any damage to your iPad 9th generation device or steal your data. The magnets in library books are usually weak and not strong enough to cause any significant damage to electronic devices. However, if you are still concerned about the possibility of damage or data theft, you can take some precautions. One option is to remove the library book from under your iPad before placing it down for the night. Another option is to use an iPad case that is designed to protect against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and magnetic fields. These cases use special materials that block electromagnetic radiation and magnetic fields, and they typically provide additional protection for your device.
