If you have homeowners'/renters' insurance, put them on notice of a loss. Many such policies cover your tech gear.

If your do not have AppleCare + Theft and Loss, you homeowners' policy may be your only financial relief, subject to the usually deductible, of course.

You can check with your carrier to see if they include any type of protection in your monthly plan billing.
