Does optimized battery charging occur when using USB-C ports for charging?

I'm using USB-C charging to charge my MacBook Pro M1. Does the "Optimize Battery Charging" switch work the same with USB-C as it does when using the MagSafe adapter?

Macbook optimized battery charging doesn't work when charging from Studio Display Hi friends, I use a couple M1 Macbook Pros and have noticed that the optimized battery charging (ie stopping charging at 80% to extend battery lifespan) never works when they're charging via USB-C cord from a Studio Display. It works as expected, stopping charging at 80%, when they're charging from their charger with a magsafe cord instead. Anyone else noticed this? I prefer not to resort to 3rd party options like Al Dente when Apple has a native solution but also don't want to cause unnecessary battery aging since my personal laptop is almost always plugged into the Studio Display. Thanks!

Optimized charging via USB-C on MacOS? Does optimized charging on MacOS work when you charge with the USB-C? My 2021 14" MBP will use optimized charging with MagSafe, but USB-C isn't.

MacBook Air Battery charger Hi everybody! Is that possible to use a battery charger for MacBook Pro to charge the MacBook Air battery without damaging the battery? (Both have the usb-c port) Thank you very much.
