How do you “deliver quietly” on the IPhone 12?

I've checked settings and the app settings and there is no option to alter or change the system notification. Anyone else notice the super quiet new notification?

SMS and iMessage notifications settings are not different. However, if the recipient has enabled Hide Alerts for a specific message thread then there won't be any sound irrespective of DND
