Hello! I have been unable to remove selected images from a photos album I created. Unlike on the iphone -- where you get a prompt before deleting whether you want to remove the image from the album OR delete the image from your photos library -- I can only delete the image. This is crazy and I have searched for an answer. Thanks.

I want to remove a photo from an album. The image you screenshot (thank you) doesn't include albums. It would delete the image from my library which I don't want to do. Before trying that, I did go to the pull-down menu and saw 'remove from album' and I thought that would work but it also deleted the image from another album I have it in so I had to restore the 'remove.' Anyone from Apple Support there to help?
are you selecting the entire library folder in the photos app sidebar?
and then delete the picture from there?
