Apple Pencil paperlike tips
I am considering the silicon tips for my apple pencil 2. The slickness of the screen makes clear handwriting difficult. Will the aftermarket paperlike tips cause any problems? Does Apple have a similar product?

Apple only market one type of replacement tips - these being identical for the first and second generation Apple Pencil:

Whether or not third-party alternatives, or slip-on silicone covers, work for you is largely a matter of experimentation and personal preference.
Perhaps consider that some aspects of Pencil functionality may be negatively impacted by the [even slightly] increased distance between the Pencil transducer element (located immediately beneath the replaceable Pencil tip) and the screen (with which the transducer interacts).
