Refund Denied

recently, i downloaded the app “saferkid” and i started the free trial. once i saw that it costed $199 a year, i uninstalled the app and “managed my subscription “ by ending it. apple still charged me the $199. and i put in a request for a refund and got denied. the only reasoning i’ve been given is it’s not eligible for a refund and that’s it. when i didn’t approve of this purchase whatsoever and had already uninstalled and canceled before the free trial ended. this is $200 out of my pocket and i don’t know who to contact for better help. i already contacted apple support and they weren’t much help at all.

Did you cancel the subscription properly the day before the trial period ended?
