Transfer of iTunes from one pc to another

I'm having real problems transferring iTunes from 1 pc to another. I've followed the instructions closely but although I've managed to transfer my directory although when I try to play any song, they are not there. Can anyone help??

We understand you're having trouble getting your music from PC to PC. Taking a look at Move your iTunes library to another computer may help you identify the appropriate steps to ensure your library is available on your new computer.

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.


The files may be in a different folder or, iTunes is looking in the wrong folder for the songs.


This section of this article should be able to help locate where they’re currently being stored: Change where iTunes files are stored on PC - Apple Support


Once you know where the files are being stored, you can follow the steps at the top of the article to either move them to the appropriate folder or tell iTunes to look for the music there:
