I'm having real problems transferring iTunes from 1 pc to another. I've followed the instructions closely but although I've managed to transfer my directory although when I try to play any song, they are not there. Can anyone help??

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.
The files may be in a different folder or, iTunes is looking in the wrong folder for the songs.
This section of this article should be able to help locate where they’re currently being stored: Change where iTunes files are stored on PC - Apple Support
Once you know where the files are being stored, you can follow the steps at the top of the article to either move them to the appropriate folder or tell iTunes to look for the music there:

Hi - I have followed this and although on my new pc it looks like the songs are there when I try to play them there is a message about trying to find the files. It might be my age!!!
