How to set up savings when option does not appear in wallet
In following the instructions to set up Apple savings account in Wallet, the option for “savings”does not appear on the page. How do you set up savings?

Try updating your iPhone to iOS 16.4.1 or later. If you still don’t see it please follow the steps below.
Let’s start with the basics and continue to the application for Apple Savings Account. Updating your iPhone to iOS 16.4.1 or higher is necessary or the application links will not appear. Link to update is below.
What you need to open and maintain an account
- Be an owner or co-owner of an active Apple Card account and add Apple Card to your iPhone.
- Be at least 18 years or older.
- Have a social security number or individual taxpayer identification number.
- Be a U.S. resident with a valid, physical U.S. address.
- Set up two-factor authentication for your Apple ID and update to the latest version of iOS.
- Apply within US
- Apple Cash Account must be verified.
- iPhone must be updated to iOS 16.4.1 or higher.
iPhone must be updated to latest version of iOS, 16.4.1 or higher, this requires an iPhone 8 or higher.
Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
iPhone must be updated or you can’t apply. Your Apple Cash account must be verified to transfer funds from Apple Cash account.

Please do not confuse Settings app for Wallet app! The Wallet app is where you start to navigate to for approval for Apple Savings account.
