Linksys and homekit

I am new to HomeKit... just getting started. I have been using Linksys Velop for my wifi for over a year. I am now getting ready to start taking advantage HomeKit and Home Pod mini's. Can anyone explain to my why I should add my Linksys to HomeKit instead of continuing to use the links's app? what are the caveats I should watch out for if I add linksys to HomeKit or is it pretty seamless? I want to avoid taking down my network accidentally.

If a product recommended by the Apple Store is bad, how do I give Apple feedback? I bought the Linksys AX4200 Mesh WiFi router (a pair) based 100% on how they were recommended as HomeKit Secure in the Apple Store. After over three hours with Linksys support and additional hours on my own time, we still have not been able to enable the HomeKit Secure features. The Linksys iOS configuration app has multiple issues, including not 'finding' the router and with iOS Application Permission management. I did not buy these at the Apple Store, as my local store had difficulties getting one delivered. Else, I would just return them. But now I want to make sure that Apple knows that there may be problems that make this product into something that Apple Store should not list as HomeKit Secure. How do I get that feedback to the right people at Apple?

Upgrading my primary WiFi router in existing HomeKit home I have been running my smart home through a 5th generation AirPort Extreme in bridge mode and 2nd generation AirPort Express extending the wireless network. I have multiple HomePods (3 minis and an OG full sized), an Apple TVHD, an Honeywell thermostat (it’s now Resideo), a couple humidifiers, and several Meross bulbs and switches. There are 4 of us in the house and we have a number of computers, iPhones, and iPads. Lately I have found that the WiFi 4 has just been slow (especially when multiple people are streaming content) and the AirPorts have been dropping devices so I want to upgrade to a Linksys WiFi 6 mesh router. How do I transition my smart home over to the new router? Can I simply plug my new main router into the IP gateway and use the same Network name? Can I use the same SSID for the main router as the Extreme? Do I need to reset each device to the new network after setting up the new router(s)? Should I just start from scratch and set up a new network?

Impact of switching routers on HomeKit? Greetings all, So it's becoming clear to me that I need to replace my very old AirPort with a more modern and powerful wifi router. The camera that I had in my garage (Eve) stopped working and when I replaced it with a camera from Eufy (I have three others, they work fine), it likewise can't connect (very intermittent). So, I think it's the router. Question: when I replace the router, if I give the new wifi network the same name and password, will of the HomeKit accessories reconnect as before or will I have to find every accessory (ack!) and reprogram them all individually. I have a separate mesh network but that doesn't work with HomeKit at least not to my inverter. Instead each node of the mesh network looks like a separate router but all with the same network and password. Impossible to use. TIA.
