Well it seems like a technical thing, you should check out this guide: How to Fix Cellular Data Not Working on Your iPhone( in 9 steps ) this might be a issue on your end and I hope network reset on your phone will fix this as any glitch in network settings can stop data connection and resetting will gave it a fresh start.

Nope. It was hardware problem. The authorized repair store could have fixed it for 600 euros, replacing the device. Really stupid. Decided to buy a brand new phone. Sucks, but at least that problem is history now.
Has anyone backed up their phone, then restored it back to factory settings, then set-up the phone as though it is a new phone, then update phone to latest iOS, then see what happens using your phone’s cellular data etc?

For assistance with cellular communications or other carrier-related issues, contact the carrier, then contact Apple Support. Carriers can have provisioning errors, problems with the particular plan, or tower outages, or other assorted issues. And iPhones can fail.
If there’s an add-on VPN client app installed, remove that, restart the iPhone, and test again.
I’ve been having the same issues with my phone going to SOS. I have an iPhone 13 ProMax and I have Verizon service. Does anyone else have Verizon? Just wondering if it is the carrier.
It was suggested that I get a new phone but I don’t feel like the hardware is the problem.
My daughter has the same phone but through TMobile and has not had this same issue. We both have done the IOS upgrades as well.

Thanks so much! After reading forums and troubleshooting for hours, this solved it. Logged out of Nord VPN and was able to reconnect to both Cellular Services and WiFi following a system update. Then signed back into VPN and reconnected settings with no issue.

Actually, it's not an iPhone issue. Your iPhone works fine. You just put unnecessary software on to it that caused it not to work as designed. Apps like Trend Mobile Security mostly just take your money. And mess up your phone.
The solution is simple. It is a dead SIM card. Go to a provider shop they will map your data to another SIM card and you’ll be good to go. Make sure to back up any saved contacts. Also, you can consider switching to eSIM.
