MacBook Air M1 worked perfectly with LG external monitor for 2 years, then stopped

I have been working with my MacBook Air M1 for over two years connecting with my LG External monitor with no issue. Then after APPLE's latest update, Ventura 13.3.1 it suddenly will not connect, I've tried new cables, both USB C ports, two different adapters, one is the apple brand one HDMI-USB C. The Mac does not recognize the monitor at all. There are YouTube videos about this demonstrating this is obviously APPLE's fault and a software problem. Please advise!

I am facing the same issue. I am connecting to a LG External monitor via a Vention USB-C Converter to HDMI. It has been working for the past 2 years or so. Recently after I connected it to a projector in my office for a meeting, it stopped working on my External monitor when I use the same connection.

I have tried detecting the monitor via Display by holding ALT and it does not do anything. I have also tried reseting the MacBook while connected, reseting the MacBook when it is not connected. Nothing seems to work. Please help!

If your issue has been resolved, would like to know how you managed to get it working again.

Thank you!
