I used my F8 key to play and pause my youtube videos but that is no longer working. Now when I press F8 Apple Music pops up. How can we go back to having the F8 play youtube, Spotify, or whatever it was we were listening to instead of bringing Apple Music up?

This might work for you;
Go to System Settings, Keyboard, Keyboard Shortcuts, Then select Function Keys in left sidebar.....
Toggle on 'Use as standard function keys'

As far as I can tell, it hasn't left. Using Safari, I can play/pause YouTube with the Play/Pause key.
If you are using a different browser, try Safari to see if it is any different.
I don't believe there are any settings that could have been adjusted to make it only work with Music.
By default the keyboard is setup to use multimedia controls. You'd have to press the fn key and then the function key.

I used to touch the play key (F8) and it would play psuse whatever application or webpage I was on including YouTube. Now it only plays Apple Music. I want that feature back!
