IOS 16.4.1
When receiving Messages or WhatsApp posts, neither of the sounds under Notifications work. Both sets of messages are received ok, just no sound to tell me they've arrived.
Tried resetting the phone and turning the notifications OFF then ON again.
Any help would be much appreciated

The best thing to do in this case would be to make sure your device is physically switched to Ring Mode. You can learn how here: How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support
You also want to make sure that you aren't set to a Focus Mode that would stop this notification from coming through. Here's a resource to show you how to do that as well: Turn on or schedule a Focus on iPhone - Apple Support
