Activation lock
Do you know how long it usually takes for Apple to complete your activation lock removal request? It could take up to thirty days, but does it mean they'll wait until the last day to complete my request?

If it were “brand new” - never used and just purchased in a factory sealed box, it could not possibly be Activation Locked.
