Frozen on messages screen black

To confirm, this is the native Apple Messages, correct? Also, does this occur every time you open the app or does it come and go? Thirdly, did this happen after anything new like a new message or group?

Additionally, per the article If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support, we just want to confirm that your iPhone is updated. You can go under Settings > General > Software Update. Let us know if there's an update, and if so, update it.

All my apple apps randomly keeps freezing since yesterday, I can't message or phone anymore, even find my and maps have issues with frozen screens. And my whole family got this problem.
