Unable to sync songs from Shazams to Apple Music

On iPhone or iPad, swipe up to My Music from the main Shazam screen, tap the Settings button , then turn on “Sync Shazams to Apple Music.” You can also add a Shazam to another Apple Music playlist without leaving the Shazam app. Just tap "Add To" next to a Shazam, then tap the playlist.

After discontinuing Facebook login the system is broken. Even with iCloud sync you cannot sync Shazam songs saved with Facebook after trying syncing Apple Music with Shazam due to the fact that my login was with an old email linked with Facebook my list wouldn’t sync. Poor job Apple.

You need to disable iCloud from Shazam.

Here are the steps:

Click on 'Settings' -> on top of everything click in Your Name -> 'iCloud' -> go to 'Apps using iCloud' -> 'Show All'.

Now disables 'Music Recognition' and 'Shazam'.

That's it, wait 5 minutes and everything will appear on Shazam.com

I have an Iphone XS with IOS 17.1.2.

Basically we can have 2 approaches:

1- you can always have it turned off, but if you change your phone or it breaks down, you could have your library lost.

2- or you can disconnect Shazam from iCloud on your iPhone, go to the Shazam.com website and check if the library has been updated. If all the songs in your library are there, then you can go to your iPhone and reconnect Shazam access to Icloud. But remember that you will have to disconnect again from iCloud to have the library updated on the website.

I’ve tried all of the above deleted ap reinstated it and it still doesn’t work I am subscribed to Apple Music also, my husbands works fine my hasn’t synced for a few years and it’s really annoying….

Do you turn it all back on or leave it off? 🤷‍♀️
