Is there a way I can change the “Last call ” from sim setting to default sim for all the contact in one go

Hello,

I keep travelling between 2 countries very often. I have 2 numbers configured in IPhone 14 pro.

the problem when I travel between countries and try to call any contact it always pick up from Last Sim used for calling. When I change country I want to use the host country number which I want to use for calling.

it’s very tiring and cumbersome to change everytime after your trip and also incurred accidental roaming outgoing call charges.

Is there a way I can change or reset the Last used sim for calling to default in one go for all contacts for calling.

Request help, as it was so easy to do in My Android phone.

The Last Call feature becomes relevant when you have shared both of your phone numbers with certain contacts.

For You...

You may change the Voice line to be used under Contacts. And while making a call dial using contacts and not using the Recent call list.

There is a difference between "Last Used" and "Always Use"

"Last Used" : This is waht the Contact has used for contacting you. You can immediately call back from the same number where the call was received from the Phone App > Recents Tab

"Always Use" : This is what you want to use while making a call. Open the Contacts App and Open a Contact and Tap Call. Now it will use your default number.

Watch the GIF below to change the Voice line. This has to be done each time you receive a call and want to call back from another line other than through which it was received.

Thanks for your reply.

But when I am trying to call from Contact it again picking up from Last used number.

so everytime i am calling anyone it adds up an additional step of selecting the line to call people.

Such an stupid way of implementing dual sim by Apple !! My 6 year old Android phone was so so much better.

I agree with you. It would be enough for them to add to the Last Used option the Use default. When you travel to another country, you change the default, and you are done. I have the same problem.
