You might want to check that you are signed in to your device with your Apple ID:
Your Apple ID is the account that you use to access all Apple services, including iTunes, Music, App Store, FaceTime, Messages etc, and makes all of your devices work together seamlessly.

You could likely add your card directly to your Apple ID account online:
