Unable to re-install Apple Music

Have you checked your App Library to see if the Music app is still there?

(It may be that only the App icon was deleted from the home page.)

To restore a built-in app that you deleted

(Delete built-in Apple apps from your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch - Apple Support)

1. On your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, go to the App Store.
2. Search for the app. Make sure that you use the exact name of the app.
3. Tap the Redownload button.
4. Wait for the app to restore, then open it from your Home Screen.

If you have Apple Watch, restoring an app to your iPhone also restores that app to your Apple Watch.

If you need to re-download purchased music after redownloading the app, try the steps in this article: Redownload music - Apple Support

I turned on “Download over Cellular Data” in Settings>Music. Then i tried downloading the Music app using Cellular Data and it worked.

You do not need to go to your settings. Once you have switched off the Wi-Fi, just make sure your mobile data is on and then go back to the application app and click download. The only thing that helped for me was updating my device. After I updated my iPad I was able to reinstall Apple Music.

I had this problem when I was in Costa Rica (my account is in the US). I enabled my VPN to US and tried again. That worked.

Offloading an app retains all documents and data. See if deleting some downloads in Settings > Music helps with the reinstall.

I had this issue until I reset my iPhone setting. (all settings).

Before this, I deleted all apps that would normally be alternatives to Apple Music in my phone.

Wait for your phone to reset and pause for 30 mins or more and try to reinstall the app.

My apple music was reinstalled.
