Iphone battery health drop

I have an iphone 14 pro max which I’ve only used for 4 months (Dec till April) and the battery health has dropped to 95%. I use an original charger bought from the apple store and the usage of my phone is also normal. What could be the reason of the battery health drop in such a short period of time?

See this excerpt from the "Your battery's maximum capacity" section of the support article: iPhone Battery and Performance - Apple Support

"A normal battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles when operating under normal conditions. The one-year warranty includes service coverage for a defective battery. If it is out of warranty, Apple offers battery service for a charge." In other words, if it is below 80% maximum capacity, it is below normal performance. You can still use it but you may wish to consider having it changed.

1% per month is not outside the realms of normal usage.

Hi there,

There could be many reasons, such as the fact you frequently expose your iPhone to direct sunlight, or you drop your iPhone battery level up to 0% (or near) too many times.

The battery drop you’re experiencing isn’t that unusual, though.
