iOS

I've upgraded my iOS to the latest one with the (a), and ever since then, my phone keeps freezing. I've deleted the upgrade but it keeps doing it until I reset the phone. Any help?

Hey there nikoleta98,

While downgrading any OS version for an iPhone isn't something that's suggested as a valid troubleshooting step, nor is supported by Apple, we'd like to help however we can. Let's start with ruling out some possible causes, along with learning more about what's happening:

  1. We still recommend making sure that iOS 16.4.1(a) is the version installed. As it wasn't clear from your last message details if you currently have this version installed, you can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Any app updates available? Here are the steps to check: How to manually update apps on your Apple device
  3. Which steps do you take to get it responsive?
  4. Have you noticed this occurring only when using a specific app, or performing a certain task on your iPhone?
  5. A full, or nearly full storage could cause this type of issue to occur. How much available internal storage do you have if you check under Settings > General > iPhone Storage?

Cheers!
