hi, if I transfer all data from an iPhone XR to a new iPhone 14 plus, will the old iPhone still have all my data or will it be blank? I wish to keep all my data on both phones ideally, just in case of an emergency

Hi maciti,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

When you transfer data to a new iPhone, the transmitting iPhone is not erased. The data will stay intact until you choose to erase it.

Use Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
