Device name keeps changing

I have a Xr. The name of my phone was Julie’s iPhone. It has since changed on its own from iPhone (4) to iPhone (7) to its current name, iPhone (9). I have read all the previous suggestions of updating my phone, and it’s not a work phone or belonged to anyone previously. What is going on and what do I do to fix?
