Airpods firmware numbers?

When I check the firmware for my Airpods, System Information shows me 0xB087. How does this relate to the version numbers given above?

Hey watcoh,

Are you 100% your AirPods are genuine Apple AirPods? The firmware update that dropped yesterday is 5E135, and the previous one before that was 5E133. There are a lot of counterfeit AirPods and I myself have been scammed buying 3rd generation AirPods thinking they were real until I had a hard time updating the firmware. That's when I found out they were fakes.

Hi!

I don't believe that is a valid firmware version. On which device are you checking this information? For example, are you using an iPhone to find the version of your AirPods' firmware?

Thanks - confirmed on my iPhone that they are model number A2031, and that the firmware is, indeed, 5E135. I was following the procedure for getting that information via my MacBook Pro, using System Information, and that is what came up the strange firmware rubric. Thanks for the help.
