If it does not appear in the Find My app on another device logged in to the same Apple ID or on iCloud.com, then either the Find My service is turned off, or it is entirely offline. In either case, there is no other way to find it.
If you have an idea of where you may have lost it, the only option is to do it the old fashioned way, and physically search for it there.
