MacBook Air - M1, 2020

16GB

MacOS Ventura 13.3.1

Mail 16.0

A."Your Network preferences prevent content from loading", etc And a "Load Content Directly" button that works fine. But I don't want to wait to load content. I want it when I open the email, but I cannot find which "network preferences" are being referred to.

How do I fix this?

B. My email keeps not deleting when I press "delete" in mail, but the app converts the content to zero. If I try to delete THAT, it forces an "undelete" action. It seems that the "undeleted" emails eventually hit the trash, but it's kind of messy when doing replies, etc. Thoughts, anyone?

Appreciate any advice. thx Peter D.

A. Mail > Settings > Privacy. Uncheck "Protect Mail Activity" and "Block All Remote Content" if it's checked.
