Final Cut Pro X, when trying to export audio or video, stalls at a certain percentage and must be forced closed Ever since FCPX 10.8, some projects are unable to be processed. I do a lot of audio splitting from files and then overlaying it with video and as I play it back, the sound will cut out. It's at this point that the video will stall out later when I try to export it. I just switched to FCPX 10.8.1 and the same problem persists. This is devastating to me: I cannot process a video I've spent 3 weeks on.

Final Cut Pro stuck validating plugins and will not open. Anyone else have this issue?

A quick search on this forum would have shown you perhaps dozens of similar questions, and also the answer:

until an update comes along, the current workaround is to temporarily rename the folder

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

to something else, like Components.ignore
