shortcut key combination opens IntelliJ and finder search window at the same time

A wild guess: maybe you changed the shortcut for finding in Finder from the default Command-Option-space

to Command-Shift-f?

System Settings->Keyboard, click "Keyboard Shortcuts", then select "Spotlight".

If your shortcut there happens to be Command-Shift-f, change it to something else (perhaps back to the default).

You'll need to disable or change the shortcut for Spotlight. In system settings, go to keyboard and click Keyboard Shortcuts.

In the menu that pops up, click on Services and click to expand the Searching item.

There you will find the shortcut to open Spotlight. There you can change it or disable it. I've disabled it as shown here since it disrupted my workflow.

I am experiencing the same thing.

-> Are you using a german keyboard too? (might be only on german?)

-> Have you maybe also configured Ukulele for your keyboard? (unlikely cause)

What version(s) of IntelliJ are you using and what is the macOS (eg, mine is Ventura 13.3.1)

ummm, im sorry, but I can't help bcs I dont have IntelliJ :\

This was my first guess. But this was not the case for me. Although IntellIJ did give me the warning:

"SEARCH_WITH_SPOTLIGHT" conflict

But it remained the default, I did not fiddle with that.
