just like that, from nowhere, my imac wont save screenshots in desktop or in any designed folder to do so

Shift Command 5 >Options

Take screenshots or screen recordings on Mac - Apple Support
Known issues third party apps can usurp screenshots, verify your settings there if applicable...
some ex:
oneDrive
GoogleDrive
Dropbox...
and —iCloud Drive
Store files in iCloud Drive on Mac
