Hi I have iPhone 12 Pro Max & it is stick on verifying security response. I tried pressing volume up then down and then holding power button but does not work.. only Siri sign comes and goes away.. tried holding the power button , the slide to power off shows up but not clickable.
A forced restart always works if done correctly, unless your iPhone has a hardware problem:

The operative word here is QUICKLY; and try it a couple of times, the timing is a little tricky.

Same problem, same screen as shown above. Had to do this forced power off twice. First time, the screen shut off but the Apple logo did not appear even after two minutes of holding. Second time, worked.

Just press each button once (quickly), correct?

These instructions work but then it seems to go back to this 1x a day. Do you know why this keeps reoccurring?
