iTunes "authorization"

I just purchased a new Mac mini but can't access iTunes until I authorize the computer. How do I do that?

Mac mini, macOS 13.3

Be aware that there is no iTunes app on Macs that are running Catalina or later. The iTunes app for Mac computers was discontinued and replaced when macOS Catalina was released. It cannot be installed on Macs that are running Catalina or later. See the following Apple article for information about the replacement apps: What happened to iTunes? - Apple Support

You can authorize your new Mac in either the Music app or the TV app, See the "How to authorize or deauthorize your Mac" section of Authorize or deauthorize your computer for iTunes Store purchases - Apple Support for instructions.
