iMac is not waking up from sleep, Power Nap is not working

Hi,

I have a problem with iMac 4K randomly not waking up from sleep. The only option to restart is to unplug it or force reset using power button. Interestingly the Mac seems to be warm on the bac even after couple of hours suggesting that some kind of activity is happening.

At the same time I also experience issues with Power Nap, that is no longer delivering new notifications.

Below you will find EtreCheck report.

Good work there on being Proactive and suppling the Etrecheck Report 👍

This will cut out the back and forth question, answer and question aspect

From what I see from this report >>

Part 1 of 3

1 - This computer is in a dangerous situation where it is running out of Free Space

As the computer will struggle to find Empty Space to save all the changes to data, it will not function as expected.

If left unattended to, it may exhibit additional malfunctions and / or cease to boot up date all

Part 2 of 3

Manage Storage

The links below will assist in identifying what is taking up space on the Internal Drive and provide possible ways to remove data that is under the direct control of the User ( Home Folder ) .

Rebuild the Spotlight index on your Mac

What is “Other” storage on a Mac, and how can I clean it out?

Free up storage space on your Mac

OmniDiskSweeper Safe to use

GrandPerspective

How to delete Time Machine snapshots on your Mac.

Often caused if the Time Machine Drive has not been attached  to the computer and TM Backup is set to run on a Schedule.

TM Backup will make Snap Shot on the Internal Drive awaiting the TM Backup Drive to be attached.

Only then will the Snaps Shots be transferred to the External Drive and deleted the Internal Drive.

See used and available storage space on your Mac

Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Notation - If the user is using a cloning software like Carbon Copy Cloner - suggest tweaking the Safety Net Feature in this software. It may be making additional Snap Shots that are not being Cloned to the Eternal Drive. If this should be the case, these Snap Shot could be using additional space on the drive

Part 3 of 3

Then there is the issue of a Disk Cleaner application called " DrCleanerProPlus "

Any Third Party Applications that will interfere with the normal operation of the OS,  is an invitation for disaster.

Certain Applications maybe available on the Apple Apps Store - this only means the Developer is prepared to pay Apple a portion on each sale. What the Application may do to the computer is up to the User to check this out before purchase

Any of the below should be removed as per Developers Instructions

1 - Disk Cleaner

Dr Cleaner Pro Plus
