Unable to double click on email message for it to open fully. I don't think I have changed any settings but may have. Last night computer had a software update. Does anyone know where the 'tick box' is to set this back up? Thanks

There is no setting to change. Double-clicking should work.
Try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally. Sometimes that will fix anomalies.

You can change the double click speed by going to System Settings, Accessibility, then adjusting the speed adjust bar to your liking: (This adjustment is for system wide mouse actions and not just for Mail)
