Ipad Gen 8 screen went blank

I have an Ipad gen 8. A few weeks ago the screen went blank.

I reset the ipad with the power and home button and it came back on. Last week the screen went black again but the problem was not fixed by a reset.

I have so far restored the ipad using itunes. The ipad will talk to me telling me it is ready to be setup but the screen is still black.

I have fully charged the ipad. I have “burped” the ipad.

Any other suggestions on home fixes?

Thanks,

iPad (8th generation)

As described, your iPad may have a screen hardware fault that requires repair. While your comment as to having “burped” your iPad is not entirely clear as to what you have attempted, if this involves performing any kind of external impact upon the device, you may cause unseen damage.

You would he best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP), where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad - and you will be able to explore your available options:
