The Trust/Don't Trust msg keeps flashing when I connect to my MacBook.

Whenever I physically connect my MacBook to my iPhone,

I can't find my phone on Finder on MacBook

AND

The Trust/Don't Trust msg keeps flashing quickly

Help Pls

I have tried restarting both and various other things as suggested by Apple Support website, to no avail.

I would appreciate help as I want to transfer material from my phone to my Mac directly rather than by AirDrop as there is a lot of data.

Thank you

iPhone XR, iOS 16

Troubleshooting Trust/Don't Trust Messages:

A. Any Security Software?:

If you have Security Software installed, then it may be blocking it out as an untrusted device. So, uninstall the Security Software, as it only gets in the way on an iPhone, and this is a pure example of how and why. Use an uninstaller to uninstall it. Ask the Developer which uninstaller to use.

B. Reset All Network Settings to Default:

Example of items that will be reset: (Wi-Fi Passwords, VPN Connections, etc)

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Tap: General
  3. Tap: Reset
  4. Tap: Reset Network Settings.
  5. Enter: [Your Passcode]

Malwarebytes if Fine to Use. It is developed by longtime users of these forums.

A Screenshot or a Photo may Help:

Can you provide a photo or screenshot of this? IMPORTANT: Blackout personal information(i.e. names) from this, by covering it with red rectangles, and such.
