Apple Watch and iPhone compass is not 100% identical

my Apple Watch and my iPhone North is not facing the same direction, it’s around 53° off from each other, if the watch is 0°, my iPhone would be 053°, any one know why?

Hey there, instrogamer121,

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.

We want to help you get the most accurate results possible from your Compass apps. To start, we want to recommend that you remove any screen protectors or protective cases from your iPhone and test the Compass app again. The reason for this is that any sort of magnetic interference can affect the accuracy of the compass feature of your iPhone so by removing any third-party accessories, you can begin to isolate the issue away from that type of interference. When testing for accuracy, be sure that your iPhone is resting on a non-metallic surface with a clear unobstructed view of the sky.

If you're still experiencing the same issue, then we would recommend that you pull up Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > System Services and make sure that Compass Calibration is turned on.

We hope that this information is helpful.

Have a great day!
