Brightness stuck on extremely low

Hi all,

Today, I noticed that my iPhone 12 Pro's brightness was very low, and there was no response when trying to change the brightness bar. This has happened before, and the fix then was eventually having to reset all the settings. I tried this again, but this time it didn't work. When I try to restart the iPhone, I can tell the brightness is correct when the Apple logo shows up right ahead, but is decreased to an incredibly low amount when completely booted up.

I just updated to 16.4.1(a).

Does anyone know any fixes to this problem?

Please check the following

Do you have Scheduled Night Shift On in your iPhone?
Which level have you set your Color Temperature to?
Manually enable Until Tomorrow [Enabled]

Brightness can affect battery life. To maximize battery life, let auto-brightness adjust your display or dim your screen.
Use Night Shift to adjust the colors of your display.

I have tried changing these settings, but there isn't any notable change as the screen is so dark. Color Temperature is set in the middle.

I would describe the level of brightness as lower than anything I've seen for an iPhone.
