I recently had to get a new cell # my main Apple id is tied to that number and everytime I try to login even to reset my password it asks to send a text to my old number, is there a way to bypass this or have I permanently lost access to my primary Apple ID? I thought about calling support but wasn't sure if I would be charged for the call or not
If you can’t access to your iCloud, forgot either eMail, or password. Press: ”Forgot Password” It may ask your phone number, write your current phone number to the typing field UI. Then check your phone messages to see if you’ve got a number-digit, if you didn’t get it press Resend. Copy the code into the typing field UI and you should follow instructions there i think.
Tried that, it's getting past the two factor authentication that is holding me up, wants to verify that it's me and only gives me an option to send an email to the primary icloid email I don't have access to or to the old cell # I don't abe access to, and unfortunately there is no Apple Store in my city
