Why my phone charging delay

We'd like to help by first learning more about what's happening, along with ruling out some possible causes:

1. You mentioned there's a charging 'delay', but are we correct in understanding your iPhone charges later and not immediately after plugging it to the charger?
2. This behavior may be expected due to a feature called Optimized Battery Charging, which is enabled by default, but can be disabled if you choose.
