Safari automatically closing TABS

A problem has prevailed for years with tabs automatically closing in safari on the iPad. Forum after forum has tried to declare that there is no problem with the software. All one needs to do is either change the settings or clear your history/data and all is well. Bull!

THERE IS A PROBLEM IN THE SOFTWARE. Apple needs to stop playing games with their users and fix their issue. I am so sick of being told that the issue is my fault. I am ready to through my iPad out the window. Fix the **** problem, Apple. For me, this only happens on the iPad. iPhones and PowerBook never.
