Can I add family members abroad

I just moved to the US for work. I have my iphone from Costa Rica since I am from there and all my subscriptions were on apple store with Costa rica as country. I have changed my apple store to USA and now I want to get back and buy the same apple music subscription I have. Can I add my family members from Costa Rica and their IDs as I now will be on an USA profile? If not I will go with Spotify I think!

Spotify can do this, come on Apple sort it out, we are living in 2022 not 1999!

Again to speak to you comment, the fact is that you can actually play music and add your fam. So, if like us, you’re on vacation with family and you want to play music together, it works. Apple won’t even let you add the person.

Respectfully, I wasn’t speaking to you. I was speaking to anyone who might read your comment and be misinformed by your information. 😉

To @muguy’s comment, no they do not! I definitely recommend Spotify to folks who want to share between family in different countries. It works well for us, and as of July 2024 Apple still won’t allow the same access 😊👎

Just because Spotify hasn't caught you yet doesn't mean they actually allow it in their Terms of Use.
