Go to the beach with your Apple Watch

Hello everyone ,

I am writing with a question .Do you go to the beach with your Apple Watch and how do you deal with the small piece of sand that stucks under the crown .I had a problem yesterday with it.It was so full with sand that I wasn’t able to press the crown at all .And after of water and high pressure water ,I think I managed to get rid of it .Is there something I can do to prevent that from happening next time I go to the beach with it
