Activate Microsoft Exchange Outlook Account on iPhone

I was receiving MS Exchange account's emails on iPhone via Apple

Mail app. I replaced the iPhone, but was unable to re-set MS Exchange account

on my new iPhone. I get emails on laptop, but not on iPhone. How do I activate emails

on iPhone?

iPhone will not add Exchange account in Mail Setup I was on with Apple support for quite awhile last night. The issue is specific to one device iPhone 13 running iOS 16.1.2. My exchange mail account was continually asking for password. I called the host company first and they had me delete account to re-add. When I tried to re-add it would get to the part where their should be a signs into Windows365(pop-up) but would just go back to the previous setup. When we tried setting up the same address on 2 separate iPhone is when through as it's supposed to. The apple support had me completely wipe the phone and we tried it again before restoring the phone from a back-up and it still would not add the exchange account. After much patience on both our parts we finally gave up after a collective 3 hours session with no Fix. Help! I hate the outlook app and want my Apple mail back, it's critical to my business operational procedures. Thank you,

Outlook email On my iPhone13 I am trying to add an outlook.com account. I go to settings>mail>account>add account>outlook.com. On the Microsoft screen I enter my email and password. The account is not added and the add account screen is displayed.

Settings, Mail, Accounts, Add Account.

If already there delete it first.
